Welcome To Quahog
Family Guy first aired in 1999 and is still going strong, providing comedy fans with an awful lot of laughs. Created by Seth McFarlane, this isn’t your standard animated sitcom. The show features crazy characters, bizarre storylines, and hilarious parodies.
Based in the small town of Quahog, Family Guy follows the misadventures of the Griffin family — Peter, Lois, Meg, Chris, Stewie, and Brian — and friends. Each one of them brings something unique to the table.
Peter (voiced by Seth McFarlane) is the father, and he’s downright outrageous. He often finds himself falling downstairs, projectile vomiting, buying ridiculous new pets, and fighting giant chickens.
Lois (voiced by Alex Borstein) deserves a lot of credit for putting up with Peter — and the rest of the family, too. Next to her husband, she seems relatively normal. But even Lois has her moments.
Meg (voiced by Mila Kunis) is without a doubt one of the most abused characters in the show. She is bullied on a regular basis by her family and often made the scapegoat for anything that goes wrong. Anything. You can feel sorry for her at times, but the classic ‘Shut up, Meg’ quote never gets old.
Chris Griffin (voiced by Seth Green) is a strong contender for favourite sibling. Despite being somewhat lazier than his older sister, he often gets more slack — unless Herbert or the Evil Monkey are involved.
The youngest sibling, Stewie (voiced by Seth McFarlane), might be a baby, but he may well be the brains of the Griffin family. It’s fair to say that he’s not particularly fond of his family, and he regularly comes up with evil plots to kill them and achieve world domination.
Capping off the family, we have the family dog, Brian (voiced by Seth McFarlane). Compared to your stereotypical pooch, Brian is a bit of a wild card. He enjoys whisky and smoking, and you’ll often find him debating religion and philosophy.
