Cowboy Bebop is a Japanese animated science-fiction TV series set in the year 2071. The series follows the adventures of a group of bounty hunters travelling in their spaceship called the Bebop.


The original crew of the spaceship are exiled former hitman Spike Spiegel, an Inter Solar System Police officer named Jet Black, con artist Faye Valentine, skilled hacker Edward Wong, and a genetically-engineered Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Ein.


The series follows the adventures of the team as they get tangled up in disastrous mishaps leaving them without money, while often confronting faces and events from their past. Often, the tram has to fight an ambitious criminal affiliated with the Red Dragon Syndicate named Vicious.


The series has helped to introduce anime to a new wave of Western viewers and has been a huge success since its premier in 1998
