‘Cars’ (2006)is an animated comedy film directed by John Lasseter and starring the voices of Owen Wilson, Paul Newman, Bonnie Hunt, Larry the Cable Guy, and even Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher.

The film is set in a world of talking vehicles, where cars race to win the coveted Piston Cup. Strip "The King" Weathers, Chick Hicks, and Lightning McQueen finish the race in a three-way tie and decide that the tiebreaker race should be scheduled for one week later at the Los Angeles International Speedway.

Lightning McQueen is determined to win and eager to get to California as soon as possible, he forces his big rig ‘Mack’ to travel all night long. In an accident, Lightning falls out the back of the trailer and ends up in the small, rundown desert town of Radiator Springs.

Lightning spends time in the rundown town and becomes friends with the residents, which include the famous three-time Piston Cup champion the Hudson Hornet, who is now the town judge Doc Hudson. Doc and the other residents teach Lightning that there is more to racing than arrogance and trophies, and at the final race- Lightning proves that he is a true winner.
