In two classic feature films of the '90s: Pet Detective and its sequel, When Nature Calls, Carrey’s background in the world of comedy film comes out to shine as he ventures out on a mission to serve the many animals of the world - much to the mockery of the Miami Police Department.

First released in 1994, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective follows the title character as he seeks to recover the beloved mascot of the Miami Dolphins – an appropriately real dolphin by the name of Snowflake. Finding himself immersed in a mystery of epic proportions – or should we say a never-ending ‘rabbit hole’ - prepare to laugh out loud in a defining role that finds Carrey giving it his all in a variety of unexpected set-pieces.

And the investigation doesn’t end there, re-join Ace as he returns to the world of detecting in the acclaimed follow-up film: Nature Calls. Ending his sudden retirement early, our hero sets out to discover the location of the missing sacred animal, Shikaka. And to make things even better, he’s utterly terrified of bats – and guess just what species Shikaka is. 

Ace becomes immersed in a looming war of tribes that will find him crawling out of the... Well, let’s just says it involves a rhino.
